Description: The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard intends to solicit an award a�Sole Source contract to Siemens, PLM to perform eighty (80) hours of consulting services to further develop the postprocessor for the Mazak RAMTEC CNC machining center. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. SIEMENS is the Origional Equipment Manufacturer ( OEM) of the CAD/CAM software used (NX 1847) and the only authorized distributor or technical representitive for the OEM.
