Description
AMENDMENT; The Instructions to Offerors has been updated and the required form 889 has been included for review and completion for offerors.� The documents are attached with this synopsis. The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) has a requirement for a Ballast Regulator Equipment Truck to perform track maintenance at the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo Colorado. The Ballast Regulator must meet or exceed the attached specifications. � This Solicitation 693JJ621R00002 is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). �Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. �This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation includes the incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-07.� The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 333924.� The Federal Railroad Administration intends to acquire a commercial product the Ballast Regulator Equipment Truck (see attached Specifications). Additionally, in accordance with FAR 12.302, the FAR Clause at 52.212-1 is tailored to include the following: The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price (FFP).� Interested parties capable of providing the specified services shall prepare their quotation in accordance with the attached �Instructions to Offerors', dated 01/15/2020, and the Attached �Specifications�, and submit to Veronica Dorsey, Contracting Officer, at Veronica.Dorsey@dot.gov.� Offerors are encouraged to direct any questions to the Contracting Officer by e-mail No telephone inquiries will be accepted.� Questions regarding this combined synopsis/solicitation shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer, Veronica Dorsey, at the email address above no later than Friday, February 12, 2021 at 1:00 P.M.
