Description

The 502nd Contracting Squadron at JBSA Randolph, TX hereby gives notice of their intent to award a firm fixed price purchase order to Abbott Laboratories, on a sole source basis utilizing FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR 13.106?1(b)(2), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The 502nd Contracting Squadron has a requirement for the Alinity s System Blood and Plasma Analyzer which includes delivery, installation, training, a one year warranty, and reagents and consumables for three months. Abbott Laboratories is the sole source provider for Alinity s System which supports all six (6) blood donor tests required by the Code of Federal Regulation, Title 21 including HIV 1/2/O Antigen and Antibodies, Human T-Cell Lymphotrophic virus I/II Antibodies, Hepatitis C Virus Antibodies, Hepatitis B Surface Antigen, Hepatitis B Core Antibodies, and Trypanosoma Cruzi Antibodies. �Abbott Laboratories does not sell the Alinity s or any of the required reagents or consumables through a reseller or distributor.
