Description
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Government�Contracting Services (GCS) will host a virtual industry day on Friday, February 5, 2021 for three (3) upcoming acquisitions for the�Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), Division of Unaccompanied Children Operations.� The requirements are Child Advocate Services, Legal Services, and Direct Care Services and Supervision (Temporary Influx Shelters) under the Unaccompanied Alien Children�s Program (UACP).� � The purpose of industry day is to present the industry with the background, high-level requirements and plan for each acquisition as well as discuss the Agency�s goals, challenges and solicit industry feedback. The agenda will include providing industry with an overview of the Office of Refugee Resettlement�s and the Division of Unaccompanied Children Operations� mission and objectives; and providing procurement specific pre-solicitation information on each of the three (3) requirements in breakout sessions. Industry Day will be no more than ninety (90) minutes and industry will have an opportunity to have a two-way discussion with Government program and acquisition personnel.� It is the Government�s intention to solicit these services which will be performed nationwide in Fiscal Year 2021.� Registration: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a maximum attendance on the virtual platform of 170 industry attendees; therefore, each company may submit no more than three (3) representatives.� Registration will be accepted per company therefore all required information must be provided for each attendee in a single company registration email. � Please provide the following information to register each attendee, if all information is not provided the registration will not be considered complete: Full name; Company Name and Position Title; Email address; and Breakout Session Requested: (1) Child Advocate Services; (2) Legal Services; or (3) Direct Care Services and Supervision. � Registration shall be submitted electronically by providing the above required information to the following email address: OGCSFacilitiesandPropertyManagement@hhs.gov with the subject �ORR Industry Day 2021 � Registration� no later than 4:30pm on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. A confirmation email will be provided for registered attendees with the time and virtual platform details. Requirements Scope: Child Advocate Services:� The Government is seeking services for a Child Advocate program where staff advocate for the best interests of Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) by creating Best Interest Determinations (BID) for the most vulnerable UAC in ORR care.� Please reference Sources Sought Notice SS-ORR-CAS-001 for additional information. Legal Services: The Government is seeking comprehensive and efficient delivery of specific legal services. Attorneys will collaborate with ORR staff and direct care provider staff to enhance the wraparound services ORR offers for UAC throughout the United States.� The primary responsibilities will include: Know Your Rights (KYR) presentations, legal screenings, direct representation and other related legal services.� Please reference special notice ACF2021ORR202 and upcoming sources sought notice ACF2021ORR203 for additional information. Direct Care Services and Supervision: The Government is seeking comprehensive supervision and care services for unaccompanied alien children (UAC) in the custody of HHS who are housed temporarily at an ORR Influx Shelter Site(s). ORR will identify the location of each influx site.� Please reference sources sought notice ACF2021ORR201 for additional information.
