- This Request for Information (RFI) is being used as a market research tool to identify businesses interested in being considered to fulfill future anticipated needs. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541512. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, the Department of Education is not seeking proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Submissions will not be returned. Small Businesses having the capabilities to perform the tasking below are encouraged to reply to this RFI. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request.� The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. The information provided may be used by the Information Technology Accessibility Program (ITAP), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), U.S. Department of Education (the Department in developing its acquisition strategy and Performance Work Statement (PWS).� Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response.� This is a request for information and does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. The information provided in this RFI is subject to change and is not binding on the Government. Please provide responses to the questions in the attached Excel document and any additional comments or information to clearly identify the capabilities of your company.� Partial responses are not acceptable.� The Government is seeking as much information as possible and a complete response to this RFI during this market research activity.� Interested parties may submit a capability statement of their company�s ability and understanding of the specified requirement alongside the questions sheet, but are not required to do so. If a capabilities statement is provided, it should be no more than 5 pages. Please submit responses to the outlined questions captured within the attached Excel sheet by 5:00PM EST on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 via email to Torell Camp, Contract Specialist, at Torell.Camp@ed.gov and Ms. Ozge Tek, Contracting Officer, at Ozge.Tek@ed.gov.
