Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Delivery Order Modification under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0005 to General Electric Aviation on a sole source basis.� This Delivery Order Modification is for the First Article T-64 Engine Core build to re-start the production line of T-64 engines in support of H-53E. �The effort was procured pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, ""Only One Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.""� General Electric � Aviation is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the T-64 engine and therefore is the only Contractor with the requisite knowledge, experience, and technical data that can meet the Government�s need on a timely basis.
