Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground � Natick Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command � Soldier Center (DEVCOM-SC), intends to award on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements; a Firm Fixed Price contract to AB Sciex LLC for one PM service for Shimadzu Nexera X2 UPLC and two PM services per year for the SCIEX 6500+ Mass Spectrometer and on-going service maintenance. These products can only be provided by AB Sciex as AB Sciex does not authorize or certify third party service providers of services in the United States. Natick Division anticipates awarding this contract to AB Sciex LLC, 1202 Radio Road, Redwood City, CA 94065-1217, United States.�This is not a request for quotes.�Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government and that Sciex approved certifications can be provided for service technicians. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334516.
