- Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic and Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific would like to announce an Information Warfare Research Project (IWRP) Consortium Virtual Quarterly Industry Day to be held virtually, on Wednesday, 3 February 2021. The event will include briefings on the IWRP, Consortium Operations, presentation of Technical Briefs, and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. Technical briefs presented during the IWRP Consortium Quarterly Industry Day will include the below four (4) topics. It is anticipated that the topics will be the basis of upcoming Request for Prototype Projects (RPPs) to IWRP Consortium Members or are a Pre-Solicitation Collaboration (PSC). This is not a Request for Prototype Projects, but for planning purposes only. A project will not be awarded from this announcement. In order to obtain more information regarding the below projects, you must be a member of the IWRP Consortium. For more information on becoming an IWRP consortium member, please visit https://www.theiwrp.org. The purpose of this announcement is to provide members of the IWRP Consortium, and industry in general, advanced notification of Government intent. The Government anticipates one (1) Request for Prototype Project (RPP) for white papers, enhanced white papers or full proposals to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. The RPP topic will include a technical brief and one-on-one break-out teleconferences. The RPP topic consist of the following: 1) 21-LANT-0171 Request for Shipboard Testing Solution for Integrated Test Procedures: The government is seeking a solution for client devices (laptops / tablets / handhelds) that can operate either connected or in no bandwidth / low bandwidth environments and for multiple security enclaves. The Government anticipates three (3) Pre-Solicitation for Collaboration (PSC) to be solicited via N65236-18-9-0001. The PSC topics will include a technical brief and one-on- one break-out teleconferences. The PSC topics consists of the following: 1) Shipboard/Shore Automated IT Management: The Government is seeking discussion regarding an automated IT management and troubleshooting with minimal personnel interaction. The solutions shall automatically identify any potential issues, current issues, and required maintenance along with recommended corrective actions. Where possible, the system shall automatically take action with operator approval. This will be a pre- solicitation collaboration. 2) Shipboard/Shore Automated IT Smart Display: The Government is seeking discussion regarding an interactive IT management display that presents the entire IT system including equipment status, network connections, virtual machines, containers, and resources utilized. The display shall allow for user interaction to query and touch screen for component information. This will be a pre-solicitation collaboration. 3) The Government is seeking discussion regarding the integration of the John Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab Maven software baseline into the currently fielded United States Marine Corps hardware and software baselines, including developing initial cyber security documentation and test artifacts.
