This previously approved design or design details will be referred to as the parent design. Contractor shall return the following information with bid: Q: Is this Solicitation put out for a certain company? Most companies are not going to have a design approved in hand. A: There were companies (not just one) responding to the initial RFI that were able to earmark past productions that were ABS approved, PAM designs. These past productions would allow the government to reference the design maturity of future design work needed to produce these berthing module(s) for USNS MIGUEL KEITH. The contractor should be able to provide proven history of design and the ability to comply with the needed services and US Naval structural requirements.
