- Pre-Solicitation Notice The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 02 (NCO 2), intends to solicit quotes from contractors for: Recurring Biological Safety Cabinet, Fume Hood, Flow Bench, and HEPA certification and testing for Pharmacy and Non-Pharmacy Hood Systems for the Syracuse VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at: VMAC Syracuse 800 Irving Avenue Syracuse, NY 13210 The VA anticipates posting an Unrestricted RFQ for this requirement to beta.SAM.gov on or about: January 26th, 2021. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from beta.SAM.gov, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to offerors about the quote submission process. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website (https://www.beta.sam.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. NAICS Code: 621511 (Medical Laboratories) with a Small Business Size Standard of: $35 Million. Classification Code: H966 Proposed Solicitation Number: 36C24221Q0421 Anticipated Closing Response Date: February 10, 2021 Period of Performance: March 01, 2021 to February 28, 2022, with the provision of four (4) subsequent option years. Description: Vendor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision of a certified-licensed technician to perform recurring testing and certifications of specific Biological Safety Cabinet, Fume Hoods, Flow Benches, and HEPA certifications and testing for required Pharmacy and Non-Pharmacy Hood Systems. All responsible sources may submit quotes to the forthcoming RFQ, which shall be considered by the Agency.
