Description

SUBJECT:� Delivery Order against a Basic Ordering Agreement � Synopsis/Notice of Intent - Mini Stock Point (MSP) Point of Contact(s):� Sarah Ream, Contracting Officer at sarah.e.ream@navy.mil The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A C1 Class Justification and Approval (J&A) was previously posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE) and subsequently executed in reference to the BOA vehicle modification P00003 which added a Mini Stock Point (MSP). This is an individual BOA order synopsis posting to promote competition and the identification of addition potential sources of supply to support a MSP. Government intends to solicit for a MSP to support the GFP management, material receipt/handling/issuance, warehousing and stock control, packaging, vendor surveillance and programming of Gyros associated with the Inertial Navigation System (WSN-7), the AN/BPS-15/16 Radar Set, and the DDG/Integrated Bridge programs.� The contractor shall provide a storage area for the RFI/NRFI items applicable to this order that is adequate to preserve and control the items and adequate to protect against damage, deterioration, and loss of the items.� The MSP will run for a contract period of 1-year. NIINs this MSP will support are as follows: ** SEE ATTACHMENT FOR NIIN LIST THIS MSP SUPPORTS ** One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the Free Trade Agreements Act and/or the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice (Synopsis/Notice of Intent) will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Approval of a source is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Additional information for submitting a Source Approval Request package can be obtained at: https://www.navsup.navy.mil/public/navsup/business_opps/. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government does not possess the necessary data to repair the equipment/items solicited hereunder from any source other than Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation � this order is for an MSP for support of the repairable NIINs the Government does not possess the necessary data to repair.
