Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) has a need for Registered Nurses (Specialty Care) to cover 8,320 Hrs., Registered Nurse (Med/Surg ) to cover 20,800 Hrs., RN (Community Living Center) to cover 8,320 Hrs., and CNA to cover 33,280 Hrs. Contractor s personnel shall perform on-site nursing services for varying periods of time and in various areas of the Medical Centers and, based on their qualifications, may be required to work in areas of the highest need on the date of their scheduled shifts, specifically Med Surg, Specialty, and Geriatrics-CLC. The Period of Performance is expected to be from 1 April 2021 through 31 March 2022. Contractor s personnel shall be subject to the quality assurance standards established by the Joint Commission and shall perform in accordance with ethical, professional and technical standards of the healthcare industry consistent with VA policy, regulations, procedures and protocol. This acquisition is being procured as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses set aside utilizing FSS/GSA Supply Schedules, applicable NAICS code 561320 Temporary Help Services, size standard $27.5M. Solicitation to be available on or about 1 February 2021 with proposals due approximately 21 days from the issue date, 3:00 pm central time. All questions FOLLOWING issuance of solicitation to be submitted via email within seven (7) calendar days after issuance to thomas.kovarovic@va.gov, using 36C25621Q0394 in the subject line (no telephone requests will be responded to). Answers to questions will be provided via solicitation amendment.
