- Amendment 0001 dated January 27, 2021.� 1. The purpose of this amendment is to cancel the 124th Cyber Yellow Ribbon event scheduled for March 5-7, 2021 and answer questions submitted.� a. All references to the 124th Cyber Yellow Ribbon event (line items, Performance Work Statements, etc.) are hereby deleted. b. The following are a list of questions received and government's response. Q1: Some government groups have not been concerned with social distancing in the meeting set up.�Do you require this meeting to be set up with social distancing or normal set-ups?� A1: Yes. As stated in paragraph 8 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS),�The contractor will ensure that all lodging, meeting space, and catering is provided in�a manner that complies with Federal, State, and Local regulations as they relate to COVID-19. In addition, the�contractor will ensure that services are provided in a manner that complies with CDC guidance for COVID-19�safety. Contractor shall provide hand sanitizer and disposable masks at each entry to every space provided for this�requirement. Additionally, the contractor will post basic COVID-19 guidance in the privy of contract. Q2:�It indicates in your documents that the lowest price will win the business. This has not been the exclusive�criteria used for other military and government events and conferences we have held. Will you please confirm�that if a hotel meets your criteria standards, the decision will be given to the hotel with the lowest price? A2: As stated in this announcement,�The Government will award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror who is able to meet all requirements in accordance with the PWS, and offers the lowest overall price to the government. 2. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. END OF AMENDMENT 0001 1. General Information This solicitation is being issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement and corresponding attachments constitute the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation W912LQ-21-Q-0004 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-04, effective 19 Janaury�2021. This procurement is being issued set aside to 100% Small Business, under NAICS code 721110 with a small business size standard of $35M.� The Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) is seeking to conduct a Yellow Ribbon event�for the follow unit: 129th Infantry Division - April 9th to April 10th 2021� See Performance Work Statement�(PWS) for�29th ID for specific requirements. �The PWS included as an attachment to this announcement, or subsequent amendment, will be made a part of any resulting award. Place of performance is required to be within 30 miles of Arlington, Virginia. The Government will award a Firm Fixed-Price Contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsive, responsible offeror who is able to meet all requirements in accordance with the PWS, and offers the lowest overall price to the government. Multiple awards will not be made.�� In order to be considered for award, vendors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.sam.gov. 3. ������� Communication with the Government a. Questions: Please submit written questions via email ONLY to the contracting specialist at magno.g.orellanaalvarado.civ@mail.mil �Questions will be received up to 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time on January 25 2021. Questions received telephonically and/or after the designated closing time may not be answered. b. Quote Submission: Quotes shall be received no later than 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time on February 11, 2021.� All quotes shall be submitted via email to magno.g.orellanaalvarado.civ@mail.mil �Quotes submitted other than via email WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Submission Requirements: Prospective vendors must submit the following information with their quote package.� Failure to submit one or more of the required documents may render the submission unresponsive. Price (using CLIN Structure). Sample Meal Menus for the Lunch. The intent of this plan is to communicate an understanding and ability to meet all requirements.� Past Performance �Submit at least three (3) reference for the same or similar work completed in the past eighteen (18) months with the government or commercial entities.
