Description

The U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) intends to issue a sole source, brand name award to Vanguard Integrity Professionals, Inc (Vanguard) for Vanguard tools.� The requirement will be a sole source buy to Vanguard as they are the only known providers of Vanguard software and maintenance.� This notice is to research the marketplace for providers of Vanguard products.� � The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 511210 � Software Publishers. This requirement is conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 13.5.� The contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one brand name source reasonably available. THE PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE IS TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF FAR SUBPART 5.2. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. However, all responsible parties interested in this procurement must submit a capability statement within 10 calendar days from the date of this notice. Submissions after that date will not be considered. Interested parties wishing to submit their questions, interest, and capabilities must do so in writing via email. Oral and facsimile requests for information will be considered non-responsive. Verification of receipt of electronic transmission is the sole responsibility of the contractor. �A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All OPM contractors are required to register in the System Award Management (SAM) database prior to execution of award.� All nterested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via e-mail to Charles P. Reilly III (Charles.reilly@opm.gov) within 10 calendar days of the published date of this notice.
