- Navantia SA SME has been awarded a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract (IDIQ) to perform maintenance, and repair of Arleigh Burke-Class Destroyers (DDGs) and other ships to be homeported in Rota, Spain in an ongoing effort to strengthen the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) alliance in Europe through a missile defense capability. This is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. As such, the Government may place delivery orders during the ordering period. T his contract type was approved to accommodate the uncertainty of specific requirements and timing of requirements. In this contract type, there is no �total award amount.� Instead, there is a minimum guarantee of �85,820 and the maximum ceiling value is �822,460,138.32. The Government�s obligation under the contract is the minimum guarantee.
