Beta.sam is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Please feel free to use the Beta.sam site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane (NSWC-CR) has a requirement to procure Spare White Phosphor Image Tubes supporting sustainment of the AN/PVS-31 series Binocular Night Vision Device (BNVD). The Government anticipates increasing the contract ceiling of N00164-17-D-JQ21, a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to procure CLIN 0004, Spare White Phosphor Image Tubes. The ceiling increase will be executed on a sole source basis to L3 Technologies Inc, 9 Akria Way, Londonderry, NH 03053, using statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source, as implemented at FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Government and L3 Technologies Inc. will not be conducting negotiations as pricing was established and included within the basic contract award on 15 November 2016. It is anticipated that the ceiling increase of $1,605,025.00 will be completed on or near mid-March 2021. The ceiling increase does not affect or change the period of performance. The period of performance end date remains the same, 15 November 2021. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this action based upon responses is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
