Description
**SEE ATTACHMENT FOR FULL DETAILS AND INSTRUCTIONS** The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) is conducting a market survey and is seeking potential sources for Anesthesia Machines with the following features: Three pipeline gas inlets (O2, N20, Air) with diameter-indexed safety systems (DISS) and three gas cylinder yokes with pin-index safety systems. Vaporizers for desflurane, enflurane, halothane, isoflurane, and sevoflurane, 3 at any one time, with Interlock, Agent Level indicator, and Low agent alarm Integrated suction system Electronic O2 fail-safe Electronic hypoxic mixture fail-safe and flow sensing and control Ascending bellows ventilator, 1500mL with electronic flow control VCV, PCV, SIMV-VC, SIMV-PC, PSV Pro, PCV-VG, CPAP/PSV, and SIMV pressure control ventilation-volume guaranteed (PCV-VG) ventilation modes. Tidal volume control 20-1,500 cc Minute volume control, 0-40 L/min Respiratory frequency range 4-100 bpm Gas flow range 0-120 L/min IE Ratio controls for range 2:1 to 1:8 Pressure limit 12-80 cm H2O Positive end expiratory pressure level device 4-30 cm H2O Electronic semiautomatic system-check for proper functioning Gas scavenging system Monitors: Airway pressure monitor measured on inspiratory limb Adjustable high-pressure alarm Sub-atmospheric pressure alarm Continuing pressure alarm Low pressure/apnea alarm PEEP high alarm Expiratory volume/flow monitor on expiratory limb Apnea alarm Reverse-flow alarm High/low minute volume alarm High/low flow alarm O2 Concentration monitor with paramagnetic apnea alarm N2O Monitor with integrated agent monitors Touchscreen monitoring and control screen (user interface), and patient monitor screen display, both screens mobile and adjustable Event log for alarms time- and date-stamped, at least 135 events, log exported via USB at a minimum Numerical and graphic trending, with sample intervals of 15 seconds. Caution, advisory, and alarm prioritized alarms.
