Description

The United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) is seeking a dedicated Cost Estimator with expertise in cost, statistical, economic and/or quantitative analysis to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Information Technology (IT) acquisition programs within the USCENTCOM CCJ6 directorate. CCJ6 is responsible for providing the full spectrum of secure and non-secure communications capabilities and technologies, facilitating effective command and control to achieve mission requirements and objectives.� USCENTCOM spends a substantial amount of their budget on IT investments, many of which involve systems and technologies to modernize legacy systems, increase communication and networking capabilities, and transition to new systems designed to significantly improve the government�s ability to carry out critical mission functions in the 21st century. Cost Estimator will: Develop life cycle cost estimates for USCENTCOM Information Technology Systems Ensure timely completion of estimates Understand scope of work for estimates Develop cost models and incorporate cost risk analysis Development and maintenance of cost policy process improvements Provide the cost estimates to support agency budget submissions and acquisition baseline documents Be knowledgeable in Life-Cycle Cost Estimates and Business Case Analysis Maintain a SECRET Clearance USCENTCOM requires end products that will: Identify USCENTCOM�s C4 requirements and the cost to operate and sustain their network Develop a cost estimation model that can be used to estimate new IT capabilities and extensions of existing networks Estimates will cover initial costs to include, planning, designing and configuring networks, installing, testing, and sustainment along with life cycle replacement costs Model needs to be account for the expansion and extension of the designated network All vendor responses need to be uploaded in SEWP and MUST provide the following information, in the requested sequence: 1)�Based on the information provided, would your firm bid on an RFP for the listed service? 2)�Provide the name, title, address, telephone and e-mail for the primary contact. 3)�Provide a high-level description of your client base for similar services. 4) Provide cost estimate for base plus 2 option year contract. 5) Any additional relevant information This is a Request for Information (RFI), not an order.� No cost can be charged to USCENTCOM for any reason. This document shall not be construed as a request or authorization to perform work at USCENTCOM�s expense.� Any work performed by a vendor will be at the vendor's own discretion and expense.� This RFI does not represent a commitment to purchase.� Submission of a response constitutes acknowledgement that the vendor has read and agrees to be bound by such terms. There is no guarantee that USCENTCOM will submit an RFP.
