- DISCLOSURE: This is an Information Notice only and not a Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP).� Individual RFIs have been or will be issued for each procurement. This Notice is for informational planning purposes and� is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue an RFP, contract, or order for any actual procurement of materials, machinery, supply, or service. This Notice is open to all interested parties both foreign and domestic.� When RFPs are issued, boat designs which originate outside the U.S. are permitted if the prime contractor can meet all domestic United States manufacturing and solicitation requirements.� The Government is not obligated to pursue any acquisition alternative because of this Notice. ��No information is required in response to this Notice. PURPOSE: The Naval Sea System Command (NAVSEA) is hereby issuing a Notice on behalf of the Support Ships, Boats, and Craft Program Office (PMS 325G), to provide industry and interested parties with information that will assist in the understanding of intent for procurement of U.S. Navy boats and combatant craft in FY21 and FY22. Attachment 1 provides a synopsis of planned procurements. SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE ARE NOT REQUIRED OR EXPECTED.� Defense and commercial contractors, including small businesses, veteran-owned businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, HUBZone small businesses, and woman-owned small businesses are encouraged to monitor The System for Award Management (SAM) (formerly FBO) for updates and to participate in any future solicitation.
