Description

Design Bid Build NC3 Support WRM Storage/Shipping Facility at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.� The proposed procurement is an Unrestricted (open to both large and small businesses) Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Request for Proposal (RFP).� NAICS is 236220, with a size standard of $39,500,000.00.� The magnitude of construction for this project will be between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00.� Bonding will be required for this acquisition.� Offerors attention is directed to Section 002100 in the Solicitation for information regarding the tour of the site.� Solicitation will be issued on or about 17 Feb 2021, with proposals due on or about 18 Mar 2021. Offerors are advised that this requirement may be delayed, canceled, or revised at any time during the solicitation, or final award process, and is subject to the availability of funds. THE PROJECT consists of the following: Construction of a 69,945 square-foot NC3 Support WRM storage/shipping facility which includes the reinforced concrete foundation, masonry walls, metal prefabricated insulated� construction, standing seam metal roof, utilities, HVAC, fire detection/protection, air ventilation/exhaust, large roll-up door entrances, pavements, access road, office space, restroom/shower facilities, kitchen area, site improvements, landscaping and all necessary supporting work for a complete usable facility. The project also involves demolition of six existing structures, approximately 20,000 square-feet, with the appropriate disposal of resulting materials. THE PROJECT will be advertised as a Request for Proposal. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package.� Evaluation by the Government will result in selection of a firm that represents the best value to the Government.� The proposed procurement will result in a firm-fixed price contract.� Questions of a technical nature should be addressed to Mr. Blaine Kemsley at (505) 342-3125 or e-mail at:� Blaine.R.Kemsley@usace.army.mil.
