Description

Enclosed is a solicitation package, Request for Quotation (RFQ) 15B30821Q00000007 for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract to install concrete sidewalks at the Federal Correctional Institution, Marianna, Florida. The FBOP is soliciting a contract for all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete this requirement in accordance with the attached statement of work. Please read the RFQ carefully and be sure that all information requested is included in your quote. Evaluators will neither make assumptions, nor draw inferences regarding missing or incomplete data.� The quote you submit is what will be evaluated.� Missing or incomplete data could result in the elimination of your quote from further consideration.� The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards.� The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Quoters are asked to comply with the specifications on the solicitation.� Substitutions will not be accepted. �The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 238110 with a corresponding small business size standard of $16.5 million. �This is a 100% total small business set-aside.� IMPORTANT:� Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.� In order to qualify for award, your business size metrics information entered in your SAM registration must be less than or equal to the small business size standard specified above.� Each bidder�s SAM registration will be reviewed by the Government to confirm that your business size meets the small business size standard requirement.� All bidders are urged to double check their SAM registration and update as necessary, including the size metrics information. All communications regarding this RFQ, including any of a technical nature, must be made in writing to the Contracting Officer by e-mail at r1hammond@bop.gov.� Questions will not be answered by telephone or in person.�� QUOTES RECEIVED VIA E MAIL IN PDF FORMAT WILL BE ACCEPTED. FAXED QUOTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. Quote ONLY on the items that meet the required specifications as provided. The Contracting Officer assigned to this procurement is the only individual who can legally commit or obligate the Government to an expenditure of public funds should a contract result from this RFQ.
