SYNOPSIS Overhaul of F-100-PW-220 #3 Bearing Air Seal (NSN: 2840-00-570-0773) Purchase Requests (PR): FD2030-20-01033 (USAF) and FD2030-20-33729 (FMS) The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is contemplating procuring services for the Repair/Overhaul of the #3 Bearing Air Seal for the Core Module of the F100-PW-220 Aircraft Engine. The requirement cited below is for a non-commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with a one-year basic period and four one-year option periods. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.� 19.�� �Export Control: No 20.�� �Mandatory Language: �All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.� 21.�� �Item Unique Identification (IUID): If unit price exceeds $5,000.00, then IUID requirements will apply.� 22.�� �Ombudsman: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
