Description
This is NOT a solicitation or request for quote (RFQ). This is NOT a request for proposal (RFP). This is NOT a job advertisement for hiring employees. The VA is seeking QUALIFIED VENDORS to provide a very brief response to this notice including only just what is asked for in this notice below. This is sources sought notice to industry and the only information is posted on Contract Opportunities web page at https://BETA.sam.gov/. Sources sought means seeking qualified vendors. The attachments included on the Contract Opportunities page do not include any additional information. VA is seeking qualified sources ( vendors ) who have interest and capability of providing linen service for Kalispell, MT VA Clinic Contractor must provide linen service to include: 1. The Contractor must purchase initial inventory of wash cloths, hand towels, bath towels, medical bags, mats, and patient gowns. 2. The Contractor is required to maintain large enough inventory, par level for each linen item. 3. The Contractor is required to switch out inventory on Thursday s 4. The Contractor is required to deliver clean, dry, sanitized, free from stains, debris, or damage, neatly packaged, labelled laundry and rugs. 5. If Contractor delivers rugs or linen s that do not meet the standards of cleanliness, the item(s) will be rejected by the VA facility and the Contractor must provide a new rug/linen(s) within 1 business day. 6. The Contractor is required to return the same items/pounds of clean laundry that it picks up weekly. 7. The Contractor must adhere to all pertinent regulations concerning handling of soiled linens. 8. The Contractor must provide a pick-up ticket with each item that is being picked up with signature of Contractors representative.
