Description

Contract No. SPE1C1-21-D-1424 has been issued January 28, 2021 covering the following item(s) of supplies: Level 3 and Level 4 Disposable Surgical Gowns, for a maximum quantity of 20,068,570 each� and a total dollar value of $149,109,475�.� The exception at DFARS 225.7002(b) applies to this acquisition because the Secretary concerned has determined that items grown, reprocessed, reused, or produced in the United States cannot be acquires as and when needed in satisfactory quality and sufficient quantity at U.S. market prices. Notes: In the event the Government issues one or more additional contract awards under the subject solicitation that may require a re-allotment of maximum quantities available to be ordered under this contract award in order to best meet the Government�s needs taking into consideration awardees capacities and equitable apportionment, the parties agree that the maximum quantity under this contract may be reduced by a quantity not to exceed 3,428,571 each. The total dollar value is based on the maximum quantity multiplied by the unit price for the Level 4 Disposable Surgical Gown. The Government reserves the right to order any combination of the Level3 and/or Level 4 Disposable Surgical Gowns. Therefore, the higher unit price was used to determine the total dollar value. In the event the Government issues one or more additional contract awards under the subject solicitation and a re-allotment of maximum quantities occurs, the total dollar value of this contract will also be reduced.
