- This is a Presolicitation notice being released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.� The USDA Forest Service (FS), East Zone, has an requirement for a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ).� The IDIQ will be for civil engineering construction projects at multiple locations in the southeastern portion of the United States GA, TN, SC, and NC. �The requirement consists of road and other transportation-related repair and construction services, however, may include other civil engineering construction work typically performed by road construction and excavation-type contractors. �The work performed may include new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs. �This procurement will be solicited using North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 237310�Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, with a small business size standard of $39.5M.� The IDIQ contracts will have a shared ceiling of $40 Million.� �The ordering period of the IDIQ contracts will be five (5) years from the effective date of award or when the shared ceiling of $40 Million is reached, whichever comes first.� The Government intends to conduct a pre-proposal conference with interested prospective Offerors to explain USDA Forest Services� mission and goals, the current road requirements, and the strategy used for two phase Design Build delivery procedures.� The Government may answer any questions pertaining to the acquisition process. Due to the current situation, COVID-19, the Government intends to conduct the pre-proposal conference with interested prospective Offerors online.� To participate, interested prospective Offerors need to register with Carmelita Lariba, Contract Specialist (CTR),�at Carmelita.Lariba@usda.gov, by 1600 Eastern Standard Time (EST) on February 12, 2021.� ��An appointment with a link to a video conference, and a phone number to participate by phone, will be provided. USDA Forest Service Event Date: �Tuesday, February 16, 2020 Time:� 2:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) Duration:� 2 hours Atendees:� Interested Prospective Offerors, Contracting Officer, USDA Forest Service Project Manager ***Please join the meeting ten minutes before the scheduled conference starts*** � Request for Proposal (RFP) for this acquisition will be released on or about February 17, 2021 and will close approximately 30 days after.��� This acquisition will be competed as a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. This Pre-solicitation Notice seeks to provide information to interested parties about potential opportunity to construct new work, additions, alterations, or maintenance and repairs for road and other transportation related repair and construction services. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. ��Respondents are advised that the United States (U.S) Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. �All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. �Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. �Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the U.S Government to form a binding contract.��
