- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), an agency of the Government, intends to procure Army Combat Helmets (ACH) (Legacy) as specified in this solicitation in support of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC).� The Government anticipates awarding approximately three (3) contracts with at least one (1) award being restricted for a Small Business, provided the Government receives at least one technically acceptable proposal from a Small Business with a fair and reasonable proposed price.� However, the Government may award more than three, three, or less than three contracts, in its sole discretion. The basic contracts will be issued on an Indefinite Quanity/Indefinite Delivery (ID/IQ) type basis with a five (5) year ordering period in accordance with FAR 16.504. Contract and individual delivery orders issued under the basic contract shall be on a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) basis and will specify Size, Quantity, Required Delivery Schedule, and Shipping Instructions. As a multiple award contract vehicle, the Government will provide awardees fair opportunity to be considered for each delivery order in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(1). Please see the attached Solicitation and attachments for more information.� Please note that some of the attachments (Attachments 1-3) are for limited distribution and will not be posted publicly.� If you require access to those attachments, you must fill out the required documentation (Attachment 5) and return it to the Government POCs listed on this solicitation.�
