- Page 2 of 2 This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. Richmond Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 1201 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, Virginia 23249, is seeking potential sources capable to provide Contingency Laundry services. Applicable NAICS Code is 812332 with a size standard of $41.5 million. Classification code is S209. Contractor shall furnish all supplies, materials, equipment, personnel/labor, and technical supervision required to provide Contingency Laundry services from two different locations (Richmond VA Medical Center and Hampton VA Medical Center). Laundry to include bath towels, sheets (flat/fitted), pillowcases, blankets, comforters, wash cloths, fitted sheets, hand towels, bathmats, bed pads, pajamas, hospital gowns, mop heads, reusable bags, cloth cubicle curtains, shower curtains, etc. Laundry is sent daily from each facility (Monday to Friday) and must be handled by facility for the laundry processing. Laundry cannot be mixed or batched with the other facilities; each facilities laundry must be processed individually. All laundry work must be completed and ready for Richmond VAMC to pick up within 24 hours. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: 1. Company Name and DUNS # 2.
