- PSC 5820 radios and base station equipment NAICS 334220 communications, radio and TV broadcasting This is a market survey to locate commercial sources for portable radio and TV stations that the US Government will provide to European countries as part of Foreign Military Sales programs. The requirements are for three types of equipment: Portable Multi-Functional TV Stations, mobile multi-functional TV stations, and radio in a box. For Portable Multi-Functional TV Stations (PMTS), the requirement is quantity ten systems that would enable a country�s strategic communication mobile teams to broadcast visual and audio signal to defense staff, internet platforms, national broadcasters, and NATO partners during peace time and during crises using internet modems. HD switching, streaming, and recording capabilities are desired. For Multi-Functional TV Stations (MTS), the requirement is for quantity 3, to enable mobility and rapid response by strategic communications public affairs teams to broadcast video and audio signals from different parts of the country to defense staff. internet platforms, national broadcasters, and NATO partners during peace time and during crises by directly sending the signal by satellite, when internet is not available. An example of such an MTS (only for illustrative purposes) may be as follows: Land Cruiser SUV�s with drive away uplink antennas operating with Ericsson VOY II and 2x RX8200, including JVC G^-HM790E wireless camera in operation with Vislink systems L1310 2 In Lynx Diversity 1.9-2.7GHz; for compact switcher a Sony MCS-8M option, monitoring by TV Logic�s multi-format rack mount monitors double 2x PRM-902Q and quad PRM-434A.� The brands and models named here are for example only. This market survey is interested in any similar or analogous alternative solution with no constraints on design or particular components. Radio in a Box (RIAB), quantity four. This requirement is for equipment that will ensure radio broadcast within a country�s territorial unit operational area to inform civilians and influence other target groups. The desire is for a portable radio studio with wired antenna, mixer, control unit, life phone calls receiver, microphones, transportation cases and transmitter with sufficient power output to ensure radio broadcasting up to 60km in FM mode. The Government is most interested in complete packages of systems ready to operate, but will accept response partially addressing the above requirements.����� Answering this Market Survey Prospective vendors, integrators, distributors, and manufacturers able to address these requirements are requested to provide descriptions, information sheets, and/or papers that may include details of equipment, possible systems, operational scenarios, company capabilities (to include training), non-binding Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costs, and points of contact for possible follow up. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The Government may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from industry, including small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, All responses to this market survey must be received�23�February 2021 at 4:00 PM EST.
