The NCO 12, Great Lakes Acquisition Center, 115 S. 84th Street, Suite 101, Milwaukee, WI 53214, is performing market research to determine if there is a sufficient number of qualified: (1) Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (2) Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB); or (3) Small or emerging small business firms, or (4) Other Than Small business firms, to provide Five (5) Countertop Demagnetizers & Two (2) Handheld Digital Gaussmeters for the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. General Requirements: BRAND NAME (Neutrolator) or Equal Five (5) Countertop Demagnetizers a. Width is limited to a maximum of 6"" b. Height is limited to a maximum of 1.25"" c. Should demagnetize several instruments at once or entire trays and should have a stainless top and enclosure d. Should not require instruments to be removed from sterile packages for demagnetization process e. Should be able to operate continuously for 24 hours, 7 days a week and still remain cool to the touch f. Should also be portable, wear resistant, and operate quietly g. Should be energy efficient and have a UL/CSA approved cord with a hospital grade plug(120VAC 60Hz) h. Equipment should easily cleaned and sanitized, be anti-vibration and have a switch and indicator lamp i. Must be a medical grade countertop demagnetizer Two (2) Handheld Digital Gaussmeters a. Should be solid-state handheld digital gaussmeter with a digital display b. Gaussmeter height is limited to a maximum of 3"" c. Gaussmeter width is limited to a maximum of 2.5"" d. Gaussmeter depth is limited to a maximum of 1.25"" e. Should have an accuracy within 2% of reading or 1 Gauss, whichever is greater, and be accurate on all size and shape objects f. Should have an operating temperature of 0º to 40º Celsius (32º to 104º Fahrenheit) g. Should have Certificate of Calibration, polarity indicator, built in sensor, calibration should withstand strong magnetic fields, sensitivity should be able to measure low residual fields h. Should have range of 0-1999 Gauss North/South i. Circuit should operate on a standard 9 Volt Alkaline battery j. Should have an external zero adjustment dial and low battery indicator, momentary pushbutton LED Back-light, on-off slide switch, 3.5 Digit LCD [0.38"" (9.75mm) Digit Height] k. Should have belt clip and plastic storage case l. Must be a medical grade handheld digital gaussmeter Warranty 1. Items will be free from defects from materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of not less than one (1) year for equipment defined herein 2. Equipment shall have a FULL warranty period of minimum one (1) year, including all parts and labor. 3. Response time for telephone support should be within 24 hours of being contacted during our normal business hours. 4. Response time for parts or service should be within week of being contacted All interested firms who can meet the requirements stated above should respond, in writing, INCLUDING ALL THE FOLLOWING: Company name. Documentation from manufacturer (i.e. correspondence from manufacturer) of your firm being an authorized distributor for the manufacturer. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract. The Government will use responses to this notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision. This is the only notice; no other copies of this notice will be provided.
