Description
STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) RRT Code Carts Background: The Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VAMC (CMCVAMC) has a requirement to procure 55 RRT code carts made from a polymer material used for emergency response within the medical center and community living center. The facility is currently using the specifically configured LEC53 cart. These carts have a specific design and configuration to meet the demands of respondents but are now obsolete. Scope of Service: The offeror shall provide code carts as designated in paragraph D below and remove from service all LEC 53 carts once aspirators, defibrillators, and expendable supplies are removed from the carts. This is a name brand or equal requirement based on the Intermetro Industries cart configuration listed below. Any item that has a barcode label shall be properly processed for turn in before removal, but the offeror shall be prepared to remove carts within two weeks of placing new carts into service. All carts need to be delivered completely assembled minus capital equipment items and supplies. Objectives: Procure 55 code carts with new, state of the art carts configured as noted in the InterMetro Industries diagram attached to this SOW. Carts must have dual locking mechanisms, one for supplies and one for pharmaceuticals. Requirements: Carts shall be configured as noted below with an exact match or similar configuration to the InterMetro cart listed below. Government Furnished Property: None Property provided by Contractor: Contractor shall provide all tools required to manage the task. Contractor shall ensure personnel protective equipment for personnel. Security Requirements: The contractor shall ensure that all contractor personnel working on the jobsite obtain successful background investigations. General Responsibilities: Timely and safe installation of proposed equipment. Qualifications: Contractors will be licensed/certified IAW that specified work.
