- Description
- Construct and Renovate Patient Privacy Wards- project will build 2 floors on top of building 1C and renovate 3 east for private privacy providing private rooms and with restrooms. Renovating 9500 SF and constructing 4200 SF per floor (8,200 SF total) on top of building 1C. This project is necessary to achieve VA guidance with regard to patient privacy that is to provide private rooms and with non-shared restrooms for all authorized inpatient beds. Current inpatient wards partitioning is incompatible with latest requirements for patient privacy. Current rooms either share a restroom or do not have a restroom. This project will provide safe clean/dirty and storage space for respiratory equipment that currently is not adequate. Also corrected by this project is currently the 24-hour observation beds and lodger beds are intermingled with inpatient beds.
