- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Iliana Healthcare System VISN 12,1900 East Main Street Danville Illinois 61832, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b) (Items peculiar to one manufacturer) intends to request quotation on a sole source basis with AcuStaf Development Corp. NAICS 541519 applies. The VA Iliana Healthcare System requires Staff Scheduling Software that can interface with Vista to pull in Human Resources personnel data, fiscal data related to labor costs, patient admit/ discharge/ transfer information, and Daily Bed Census data to provide nurse executives a system to create staffing plans based on nursing workloads, staffing requirements, and scheduling needs to meet Federal law and other regulatory requirements. This software must have the capability to provide staffing reports and be self-scheduling. Base Period of Performance: 03/01/2021 02/28/2022 Option Year 1: 03/01/2022 02/28/2023 Option Year 2: 03/01/2023 02/29/2024 Option Year 3: 03/01/2024 02/28/2025 Option Year 4: 03/01/2025 02/28/2026 Currently VA Iliana has a real-time dynamic, integrated system that provides comprehensive and systematic accounting of nursing workload and staffing requirements and scheduling needs to meet federal law and other regulatory requirements in that of the system of Acustaf. This request is for a new contract because Acustaf continues to provide a solution to automate scheduling and staffing processes; provide decision support for staff assignments based on the objective and variable data supposed to the best estimates; improve patient care by matching nursing competency to required needs. It allows self-scheduling options to nursing providers and data for outcome measurements. This will enable strategic plans based on retrievable and accurate data. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
