Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to solicit for the provision of an Occupational Training Provider-Cosmetology Program Instructor services for the federal offenders incarcerated at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Waseca located in Waseca, Minnesota. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, four one-year options and six month extension for renewal at the discretion of the government. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611210, with a small business size standard of $22 million.� This solicitation is unrestricted. The estimated quantities for the base year and each option year are 1550 sessions per year. A session is defined as an hour. The Contractor�s employee must be licensed as a cosmetologist in the state of Waseca and have at least one year experience. The Contractor�s employee shall have an extensive knowledge in teaching the areas related to the curriculum leading to state licensure in cosmetology.� The Contractor�s employee shall have the ability to work with an inmate population from variety of cultural, regional, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 3, 2021, and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.Beta.Sam.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation and amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
