Description

USDA Forest Service, Tonto National Forest has a requirement for supply of large boulders to a designated location on Mesa Ranger District, under Commercial Items format.� � Large Boulders, approximately 3 to 4 feet in size.� To cover approximately 2500 linear feet to act as a barrier for vehicle. Material Color � Boulders should be comparable in color to the surrounding environment. This will be a light tan, pink, or soft gray color. No red colors will be accepted. Material Size � Boulders should be a minimum of 3 feet in width, up to 6 feet wide each. A variety of sizes is acceptable as long as the majority of the boulders (more than 85%) are more than 3 x 3 x 3 feet in size. The preferred boulder size is 4 x 4 x 4 feet.� Delivery Requirement � Material must be delivered and off-loaded on-site. Material must be off-loaded from the method of transport (i.e. with dump truck or by providing a bobcat/skid steer). Machinery will not be made available at the project site the day of delivery for off-loading material. This solicitation is set-aside 100 percent for Small Business under the NAICS 327991 (500 Empl).� Award will be based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA).� Questions should be sent to Purchasing Agent in writing before February 17, 2021, 1600 MST (Arizona). The Request For Quotations (RFQ) �will be made available on this announcement, on or after February 2, 2021.� Interested parties should submit an offer in accordance with the requirements of the solicitation. Responses to this solicitation may be sent by email in electronic format.� Email responses shall �only be sent to the Purchasing Agent (all submittal and deadline requirements shall be met): margaret.cisco@usda.gov �on or before the closing date and time for the solicitation.� Mail-in offers may be sent to: R3 AQM, Attn: Margaret Cisco, PO Box 640, 30 S.
