Description
PLEASE SEE ATTACHMENTS IN THE SECTION BELOW The United States Air Force through the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) at the Oklahoma City Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is soliciting services for the Repair of the 1st Stage Fan Blades for TF33 Air Craft Engine. The contemplated requirement cited below is for a sole-source commercial, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a one-year basic period and four one-year option periods. Sources must be qualified prior the close of the solicitation to be considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements, RQR-PSD-1�Revision 2. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs) and/or approved manufacturing sources. Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the solicitation is closed, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards. NOTES: A. All work will be performed as called for in the Performance Work Statement (PWS), dated 8 September 2020. B. This is a Critical Safety Item. C. The statement �IUID Required: Yes� is on all line items BUT it is NOT required if the unit price is less than $5,000.00 in accordance with clause 252.211-7003 Item Usage Identification and Valuation. This note is not applicable to the Data CLINs--0002, 1002, 2002, 3002, and 4002. D. Early delivery is desirable and acceptable E. The ordering period for this requirement shall be from the effective award date to 5 years after the effective award date. Exact dates will be added to FAR 52.216-18 during contract award. F. The contractor shall not be required to make any deliveries after 12 months from the end of the ordering period. An exact date will be added to FAR 52.216-22 during contract award. G. The contractor shall provide address information under Inspection and Acceptance as well as F.O.B Origin listed in Section I.
