THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION�NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT. The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) Contracting Office (Code 440), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed contract, to Struers, Inc 24766 Detroit Rd Westlake, Ohio 44145-2525 The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1 (b). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be for one year from date of award plus four option years.� This is a non-personnel services contract to provide maintenance and calibration services to a Struers Duramin-600 M2 Hardness Tester.� NAICS 811219 Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance� PSC J066 Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment-Instruments and Laboratory Equipment� THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may identify their interest, a quote, and capabilities to respond to this requirement no later than February 9, 2021 12PM, PST. Questions must be submitted no later than February 8, 2021 12 PM, PST. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
