Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Associate Under Secretary for Environment, Health, Safety and Security (AU) intends to extend existing contract DE-AU0000014 for twelve (12) months, on a sole source basis, to Golden Services, LLC. (Golden). The DOE is seeking to contract with Golden to provide force protection services in the physical protection of critical security interests to include Classified and Sensitive Information, Property, Classified and Unclassified Facilities and personnel. The mission of the protective force Contractor is the physical protection of critical security interests to include Classified and Sensitive Information, Property, Classified and Unclassified Facilities and personnel for the Department of Energy Headquarters. Contractor Protective Force personnel assigned to the contract are used for the purpose of protecting and/or investigating offenses against DOE assets including facilities, personnel, sensitive materials, and other property, as directed. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41, U.S.C 3304(a)(1), and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT AND NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit a capability statement by February 18, 2020 at 2:00pm EST, via email to Katharine.Lindner@hq.doe.gov. Please include ProForce Services in the subject line of the email if submitting a capability statement.
