- Amendment 0001: The purpose of Amendment 0001 is to update the Statement of Work. Statement of Work Rev 1 date 2-4-2021 is attached as Attachement 6. Section 4.1.1 is updated as follows: 4.1.1����� The contractor shall inspect the Air Flask� and perform a hydrostatic test in accordance with ADs 3.1 and 3.7.� In the event an Air Flask does not pass the tests, the contractor shall mark the Air Flask as �REJECTED� and set aside for return shipment. The contractor shall not proceed to refurbishment of any Rejected Air Flasks. For Air Flasks that have successfully passed the inspection but damage to the paint system or if any rust is present, the contractor shall recommend refurbishment of the Air Flask. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. � This combined synopsis and solicitation is being posted to the Government Point of Entry page located at sam.beta.gov. It is understood that sam.beta.gov is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitation to the internet. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This synopsis/solicitation will be open for less than 30 days, in accordance with FAR 5.203(b). Request For Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-21-Q-0246. � This procurement is solicited on an unrestricted basis, as concurred with by the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 332420 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. In order to be considered for award the offeror must submit the following with its proposal: Department of Transportation Qualification - A letter from the Department of Transportation indicating that the Associate Administrator for Hazardous Material Safety has approved them as a cylinder requalification facility/re-tester under Section 107.805 of Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR). The Offeror shall describe its proposed approach and its capability of inspecting and refurbishment of Air Flasks that will achieve the performance requirements of the SOW and Applicable Documents (AD). The Offeror shall substantiate its competency for inspecting Air Flasks addressing the following topics in a format/order that the Offeror believes will best convey its approach. The Offeror shall provide a description of the testing facilities and equipment to conduct inspections and tests for both the refurbished and �inspection of Air Flasks. The Offeror shall discuss its procedures and capabilities of painting in accordance with SOW AD 3.9 and SOW paragraph 4.2 4.4.1.[MSCCUNDNR1]� The Offeror shall provide three (3) past performance references, if available, that reflect recent and relevant experience performed within three (3) years of the solicitation closing date specified in this requirement. The Offeror shall include a discussion on how the references provided are relevant to the work being proposed. The Offeror shall include contract/task order number, contract/task order type, program name, total contract/task order cost, short description of work performed, and names and valid telephone numbers for the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO), Contracting Officer�s Representative (COR), Government Program Manager (PM), or industry equivalent. Past performance references shall demonstrate the ability to handle the scope and breadth of the tasking in the SOW. Discuss how the references provided are relevant to the work being proposed.
