- THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION NOTICE. The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Land and Maritime is issuing a sources sought notice for the Automotive Prime Vendor (APV) successor solicitation. The current contract is SPE7MX-17-D-0080, scheduled to expire in April 2022.� DLA is interested in�receiving industry comments, recommendations, and ideas regarding this initiative. In addition to the questionnaire, a draft statement of work and some basic data is included,�see attachments to this synopsis. Your comments on are welcome and�should be included with your market survey. The supplies to be covered by this acquisition are 1) non-stocked, low demand NSNs and 2) non-NSN replacement parts purchased in accordance with CAGE code and part number. The Government�s intent is to purchase the Prime Vendor�s expertise to provide logistic support to military customers by locating and providing replacement parts, primarily from the commercial marketplace, as well as providing technical assistance to the customer in identifying available parts. Provided part numbers are merely furnished to assist in item identification and shall not be construed as relieving the Prime�Vendor of the responsibility to cross-reference and perform research for the purpose of furnishing an authorized part. Definitize Process: A default price order will be issued to the prime vendor, who shall respond with a definitive price and delivery (EDI transaction) within three days of receipt for non-NSN items and an email request for non-stocked NSNs. The prime vendor shall definitize non-NSN orders under the micro-purchase threshold; however, all other orders will be definitized by the Basic Contract Administrator (BCA) through manual modification.� As a potential supplier, we are asking that you fill out this market survey to the best of your knowledge so that we can generate a realistic and beneficial solicitation. Should any of the survey questions not apply, please indicate��N/A� (not applicable) as a response. Request that you return the survey by February 15, 2021.
