Description

The Air Education & Training Command (AETC) Strategic Goal #3, to �Grow the human and technological capacity needed to support, enhance and accelerate force development across the Total Force� is implemented through the procurement and use of emerging technologies.�� AETC continuously seeks out opportunities to innovate Pilot and Technical Training in fulfilling its mission to recruit, train & educate Airmen to deliver 21st century airpower with the use of Alternate/Virtual/Mixed Reality (AR/VR/MR) Integrated Training Devices (ITDs).� As such, the 82d Contracting Squadron seeks information from vendors that can offer computer hardware for building and/or upgrading ITDs to realize Strategic Goal #3. REQUIREMENTS: The Hardware attachment lists the types of products that are planned for solicitation in the forthcoming Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: August 1, 2021 to September 30, 2025. This announcement is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or at any time in the future. No solicitation is available at present. The purpose of this Sources-Sought is to identify organizations with the requisite qualifications to meet the requirements as stated herein. After results are obtained, analyzed and compared with the Government�s minimum requirement(s), 82d Contracting Squadron may establish a BPA with each subsequently qualified Contractor. This acquisition is a small business set aside. This requirement is assigned a NAICS code of 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing, with a small business size standard of 1,250 Employees. The specific purpose of this Sources-Sought Announcement is to determine if there are small businesses, within the parameters identified above, that can provide the product(s) identified. Interested organizations that believe they can meet the requirement(s) should submit electronic copies of their capability statement. Please limit responses to five (5) pages or less. Responses should include the following information: a) Name and DUNS or CAGE Code of organization that will provide the requirement.� If not registered in System for Award Management (SAM), include a disclosure statement and provide the anticipated date when registration will be completed. b) Capability of providing hardware category requirements listed in attachments. c) Examples of similar requirements previously provided to the Government. d) Estimated Lead time in providing the requirement after receipt of order. e) Relevant information that is not listed above which the Government may consider in developing its minimum requirements and finalizing market research. Any proprietary information should be clearly marked. Only electronic statements will be accepted.
