- Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 the Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Biosense Webster Inc., for Carto 3 System Advantage Service Agreement: New Equipment/or Software Upgrades Hardware Refresh (up to one next generation workstation as determined by the Company) CARTO® 3 System Premium Service for Existing System SMARTABLATE® System Premium Service for Existing System Carto® 3 CartoReplay Module Ripple CFAE Software Module FAM Dx Expansion Pack (for Carto 3 v6 base software) VISITAG Surpoint Module Kit Biosense Webster Inc. is the only vendor authorized to complete maintenance on these units. This notice of intent if not a request for competitive quotes. This acquisition is conducted under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 Simplified acquisition procedures as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for a one (1) year base plus three (3) one (1) year options. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 811219 with a business size standard of $22 Million. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM Local Time (Central) February 10, 2021. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Joni Dorr, joni.dorr@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
