Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contract Office (NCO) 22 - Gilbert intends to solicit for a qualified contractor to perform Boiler End of Life Study services for the Phoenix VA Health Care System. The contractor shall supply all personnel, labor, material and equipment to inspect and test the boilers and ancillary equipment. Item Equipment 1 1980 Nebraska NSB-27 D-Type watertube, 250 PSI design, 110 psi operating, originally designed for 12,500 lb/hr, detuned to approximately 7,500 lb/hr w/ Weishaupt burner, Natural Gas and No. 2 Oil alternative fuel burner. 2 1973 Cleaver-Brooks D34 D-Type water tube, 250 psi design, 110 psi operating pressure, 18,000 lb/hr w/ Webster HD Low Nox, FGR, Natural Gas and No. 2 Oil alternative fuel burner. 3 Deaerator (DA) tank Maximum Working Pressure 50psi 4 Condensate tank MAWP assumed currently unknown but assumed to be 50psi This requirement is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation number is 36C25821Q0068. The electronic solicitation shall be issued on or about February 1-3, 2021 and may be downloaded from the following URL https://beta.sam.gov/.  This procurement is for total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-A-Side.  The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to make one award.
