Description

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.204 (Presolicitation Notices) and Far Part 36.301. The opportunity will be released as a competitive set aside for small businesses. The NAICS code is 238290. The GSA-PBS-Region 9, Acquisition Management Division intends to issue a Request for Proposal for design/build construction services for the Foley Federal Building and Lloyd D. George�Courthouse in Las Vegas, NV. � This acquisition encompasses the design and construction needed to�replace existing hydraulic rolling vehicle gates at 333 W. Las Vegas Blvd and vehicle security (anti-terror) barriers at 300 W. Las Vegas Blvd and replace them with combination vehicle control/barrier gates that will be electrically operated.�The design build scope of work includes all necessary labor, materials, equipment and supervision for the complete design and installation of the electric security gates/barriers to improve safety and operations inside these parking facilities.� Contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price Potential Offerors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading the documents from this site, beta.SAM.gov. This office will not issue hard copies of the solicitation, attachments, or technical documents. � Interested parties are reminded, you must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to receive an award. Also, the contractor must have a current certification with the Small Business Administration and 238290 NAICS must show Small Business status. Estimated magnitude for the total project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. � Formal solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about February 22, 2020.
