- N0016421RJN06 - SOLE SOURCE � SUPPLIES AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR THE BRU-65 EJECTOR RACK ASSEMBLY AND COMPONENTS � PSC � 1340 � NAICS 332994 Issue Date: 05 February 2021 � Closing Date: 19 February 2021 � Time 2:00 PM EST. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for supplies and engineering services for the BRU-65 Ejector Rack Assembly and components in support of MH-60(S) Helicopter platform. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Reimbursement (CR) contract with a five-year term. The anticipated contract ceiling is $2,000,000.00. SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT �� The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, ALKAN, Rue du 8 Mai 1945, BP23, Valenton, France, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is being sole sourced based on the lack of sufficient technical data, duplicative costs to the Government that are not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable schedule delays in fulfilling the agency�s requirement through any other source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact ALKAN directly. It is anticipated that the solicitation shall be made available on or near late-April-2021, with an award date anticipated to be in the First Quarter of Fiscal Year 2022. The anticipated solicitation and attachments will be made available through BetaSAM in portable document format (PDF).� No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. It is the responsibility of the interested Contractors to monitor BetaSAM for amendments that may be issued to the solicitation. Changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to BetaSAM. For changes made after the closing date, only ALKAN will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussion and/or award. Offers must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. All information marked as proprietary information will be safeguarded to prevent disclosures to non-Government personnel and entities. The Government will NOT be responsible for any proprietary information not clearly marked. The Government shall not be required to return any submitted material.
