- Solar-powered radio transmitter tags for wild horses (Equid Species), with integrated GPS plus VHF transmitter and mortality sensor for USGS, Fort Collins Science Center, Fort Collins, CO COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. 2. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested. 3. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). Submit written quotations on RFQ Number 140G0221Q0031. This solicitation will utilize the policies contained in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation evaluation and award prescribed in FAR Part 13.1 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as appropriate for this acquisition. 4. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-04. 5. The solicitation is NOT a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220 (Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing) and the size standard is 1,250 Employees. 6. Offerors are required to be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation. Register at https://www.sam.gov/index.html prior to submitting your quotation. See FAR provision 52.204-7(b)(1). 7. Offerors shall provide a Dun and Bradstreet Number in quote. 8.
