Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. This is not a solicitation announcement, nor is it a Request forQuote (RFQ). This request does not obligate the Government in any contract award. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Pittsburgh District, is conducting market researchseeking information on standard commercial practices for the acquisition of a Medical Surveillance/Occupational Health requirement. It is anticipated that the results of this market researchwill support the development of an RFQ for the requirement. The Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any firm's ability to submit a quote if and when a solicitation is issued. Theanticipatedrequirementis forMedical Surveillance services for pre-employment physicals, deployment physicals as well as occupation-specific fitness-for-duty evaluations, Commercial Drivers License (CDL) holders, Merchant Mariner Physical Examinations, crane operators, and divers as well as immunizations. The projected period of performance is one (1)base year and two (2)option years. Estimated annual quantities are attached to this Request for Information. USACE-Pittsburgh District employees work at 41 sites in Western PA, Northern WV and Eastern, OH. The District will consider both ambulatory and traditional brick-and-mortar service providers. In the case of a brick-and-mortar provider, a footprint of physicians offices or clinics within a 50-mile radius of all USACE-LRP sites is desirable. The District may consider a centrally located service provider without a 50-mile radius footprint of all 41 sites or a service provider with brick-and-mortar offices or clinics within 50 miles of the Pittsburgh, PA, Youngstown, OH and Morgantown, WV metropolitan areas. Are you an ambulatory or brick-and-mortar service provider? If you are a brick-and-mortar service provider, do you have physicians offices or clinics within a 50-mile radius of USACE-LRP sites? If not, which USACE-LRP sites are outside of that range. Subcontractors will be accepted I.A.W. FAR 52.219-14. If you would subcontract, for which services/locations are you likely to engage subcontractor(s). What suite of exams, tests, services, etc. recommended for pre-employment physicals and fitness-for-duty for CDL holders, those with Coast Guard licenses (MMPE), crane operators and divers? (Please provide a list for each type.)
