Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Data Buoy Center intends to procure the following supplies: QTY: 25 P/N: GMX500 Must include: RS232, Standard ASCII, Configuration Software, User�s guide, 2 year warranty, Preset for 1Hz output rate using RS-232 with 19200 baud rate Description: Gill MaxiMet all-in-one sensor Measures barometric pressure, air temperature, wind speed, and direction with built in compass (cost includes shipping to NDBC). This is a brand name requirement (Brand Name Justification attached) This acquisition is being processed under the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
