- U.S. ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND (ACC), DETROIT ARSENAL, MICHIGAN 48397-5000 Nomenclature:� Assault Float-Family of High Military Load Class Bridging (FOHMLCB). Item Description: The FoHMLCB�s purpose is to provide Army heavy forces with unhindered assured mobility and assault crossing for vehicles with a Military Load Class (MLC) of 120 (Tracked)/150 (Wheeled) normal crossing, and MLC150+ caution crossing.� The attached Questionnaire is intended to survey the market for an Assault Float bridge, which the FoHMLCB program currently does not have. Assault bridging provides the Joint Force with the ability to negotiate obstacles that hinder its ability to maneuver on the battlefield in stride with the Engineering Companies and Brigade Combat Teams. �����������Disclaimer: The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Detroit Arsenal, MI 48397-5000 is seeking industry input concerning the availability of sources for Assault Float-Family of High Military Load Class (FOHMLC) Bridging.
