Description
This is a ""REQUEST FOR INFORMATION"" only. This Sources Sought Notice is not a request for formal proposals or quotes. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought must be in writing. The Buffalo VA Medical Center 3495 Bailey Avenue Buffalo NY 14215 has a requirement for a contractor to provide Beyond End of Life Inspections on three (3) Boilers and one (1) Condensate tank located at the facility in accordance with National Board Inspection Code (NBIC), ANSI/NB-23 and ASNT SNT-TC-1A, 2011 Edition. The contractor shall be an accredited as an Authorized Inspection Agency by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspection and all personnel performing the inspections shall be a Certified level II Technician by the American Society of Nondestructive testing in Radiography, Ultrasonics, Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle Inspection Methods. The final report shall be completed within 60 days of award. The inspection shall include the following inspections: Boilers Visual Inspection, Ultrasonic Testing and Magnetic Particle Testing Boiler Tubes Visual Inspection and Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement Boiler Casings and Enclosures Visual Inspection Condensate Tank Visual Inspection, Wet fluorescent magnetic particle testing (WFMT), Ultrasonic testing (UT) The NAICS Code is 541330 Engineering Services with a Small Business size standard of $15 million. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the Buffalo Medical Center. This is not a solicitation.
