Description
Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) is conducting market research to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources with the capability to provide Preventative Maintenance for the Stryker Neptune Surgical Suction Devices, located at the VA Medical Center, Lake Nona, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando FL 32827. Project scope: 1. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform preventative maintenance on the Stryker Neptunes Surgical Suction Devices. 2. Contractor Requirements and Qualifications: Contractor must have an established business, with an office and full-time staff. The staff shall include fully qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE) including a primary (FSE) who will serve the needs of the VA and an equally fully qualified and competent (FSE) who will serve as a back-up to the primary (FSE). The VA may authenticate the training requirements and request training certificates or credentials from the contractor at any time for any personnel who are servicing or installing any VA equipment. The VA specifically reserves the right to reject any of the contractor s personnel and to refuse them permission to service VA equipment. In accordance with Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations requirements, contractor shall provide to the Contracting Officer s Representative (COR) or Biomedical Engineering designee documentation-verifying competency of all field service representatives. This documentation shall provide proof that the service representatives have completed appropriate OEM or OEM-approved training on the equipment that they will be servicing. This documentation shall include dated training certificates and course topics or outlines if available. This documentation must be provided within 24 hours upon request. This is a market research/sources sought synopsis only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This Sources Sought Notice (SSN) is for planning/information purposes only and shall not be construed as a commitment or a promise of a contract by the Government. This is not a solicitation. This notice does not constitute a Request for Bid, Request for Quote or Request for Proposal, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this survey. For the purpose of this acquisition, the NAICS code is 811219 and the small business size standard of $22,000,000.00 is applicable. This survey is to determine the capability of potential sources and the availability of commercial sources and services pursuant to FAR Part 10. Interested parties shall provide a capability statement that addresses the organization s qualifications and ability to perform as a prime contractor. Capability statements shall include the following business information: a. DUNS number, business name, and address. b. Point of Contact (Including name, title, addresses, telephone number, fax number and Email address). c. (Business Type) Are you a VOSB, SDVOSB, LARGE OR SMALL? d. NAICS Code: The intent is to find qualified businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code 811219 who can provide these supplies/services. All information must be received no later than: February 16, 2021, 11:00 am EST.
